From building a classic analog synth patch to complex modulations and the total turnaround of each module's functionality.
In the first part of our workshop series about Modular Synthesis we are starting from basic synth patching and are going to reveal the hidden functionalities and advantages of modular synthesis and why it is so fascinating to use. This class is absolutely beginner friendly and will be the basis for the following workshop modules where we will guide you deeper into the world of modular synthesizers, sound design and analog music production.
* Creating a classic analog synth voice (VCO, VCF, VCA, ADSR)
* *Using modules in creative ways (VCO as an LFO, Filter as a VCO, LFO as a clock, envelope as slew limiter, VCO as clock, etc)
*** LFO vs. audio rate modulation (FM, AM, etc)
